The research goal of the Bone and Joint Research Laboratory is to better understand the human musculo-skeletal system, in order to aid the development of biomechanical and safe solutions for the prevention, care and treatment of diseased or injured systems. Our research applies both experimental and computational methods to investigate the human subject over a wide range scales from gross human movement down to bone microstructure. Our research projects include basic science research as well as applied industry projects.
